With just three months left until Formula 1 returns to American soil for the fourth successive Formula 1 United States Grand Prix to be held in Austin, Texas; Circuit of the Americas (COTA) is announcing the introduction of its brand new ticketing offer available to Formula 1 fans.
Fans will be able to purchase the limited edition Gold and Silver ‘Flex Passes’ that will allow them to view the action from a different viewpoint every day of the Formula 1 race weekend.
For example, the “Gold Flex Pass” will allow fans to buy a different Premium Grandstand ticket for each day of the race weekend. This means that they can sit in Turn 1 for Friday’s practice sessions for one of the most iconic views in modern motorsport, relax in Turn 15 for Saturday’s Qualifying and then sit in the Main Grandstand for a great view of the pageantry at the start and finish of Sunday’s Grand Prix race (with a short walk post-race to join the podium ceremony and track invasion!).
Similarly, those fans wishing to purchase the ‘Silver Flex Pass’ will also have the opportunity to enjoy a different and unique view of the action each day. The ‘Silver Flex Pass’ would allow fans to sit in the very popular Turn 5 on the Friday, where they can see the cars whip through the “esses” during Free Practice, before moving to Turn 9 for Saturday’s Qualifying, the second highest elevation on the track featuring amazing views of Turns 6-10, the hairpin at Turn 11 and the high speed straight going into Turn12, before finally enjoying the race on Sunday at Turn 12 – the best overtaking spot on the whole track!
Packages will range between $750 & $771 for the Gold Flex Pass and $345 & $425 for the Silver Flex Pass. For more information on how to purchase either ‘Flex Pass’ please go to: http://circuitoftheamericas.com/flexpass.
