The Crusing Tigers GTO Club has released the unusual news that it will be honoring full-size Pontiacs at it’s 2015 “Indian Uprising”—an all-Pontiac Weekend scheduled for Aug. 8-9 at Pheasant Run Resort in St. Charles, Ill.
Cruising Tigers is a chapter of the national Pontiac club and it usually focuses on America’s original muscle car, the Pontiac GTO. However, things will be a bit different at this year’s 25th anniversary event. “We are pleased to announce that this year’s feature cars are the full-size Pontiacs,” said a club official. “Bonnevilles, Catalinas, Star Chiefs, Executives, Grandvilles, 2+2s, Canadian-built Parisiennes, Chieftains, Safaris and Grand Safari station wagons.” These and other big Pontiacs will enjoy special parking at the show.”
Pheasant Run is a brand new location for the event, too. “Not only are we excited to celebrate 25 years of our show, but we have a new home to celebrate in,” the club official continued. “Due to tremendous growth, the new home for The Indian Uprising brings endless opportunity to grow the event with double the vendor space, double the show field and double the indoor arena parking. Plus, the facility will have just finished a multi-million-dollar renovation.”
Up to 500 Pontiac show cars can fit in the new facility, but special Indoor Arena parking is limited to just 98 cars. The Cruising Tigers club expects the show to be sold out within the next 45 days. For complete information contact [email protected]
