With a lot of anticipation heading into the first round of the AMA Pro Road Racing season, the Two Brothers Racing riders headed to one of the biggest stages in motorsports at Daytona International Speedway. David Anthony capitalized on his pre-season momentum to round out the top five during both AMA Pro SuperBike races that took place over the weekend.
Aussie Dave Racing teammate Diego Pierluigi also duplicated his results over the SuperBike doubleheader weekend, scoring seventh on Friday and Saturday. Johnny Rock Page notched a 19th-place finish for the opening race and improved to 18th on Saturday.
In the Daytona SportBike class, Chad Lewin overcame some incredible odds after a crash during the second practice of the weekend. Despite major road rash, he competed in the lengthy 57-lap Daytona 200 on Saturday, riding through the pain to finish 20th.
