DMC Luxury, a German company renowned for its enhancements to some of the world’s premiere super cars, and particularly reputed for its work with Lamborghinis, has just released a kit for the Ferrari 458 Italia.
The new treatment was performed in collaboration with Luxury Custom and features an all black paint job, with a custom body kit. Called the “Elegante,” the kit is intended to make the car look more aggressive in its appearance, and, with the all black styling and tinted windows, it seems to do a pretty good job. Dark wheels and yellow brake calipers also add a nice touch and heighten the car’s intrigue.
The kit also succeeds in improving the 458’s aerodynamics, adding front lips and side skirts, among other features. However, as a hallmark of DMC’s work, the car can be reverted to the factory trim relatively easily and without any damage.
Performance remains as is, with the stock 570 horsepower, 4.5 liter V8 being maintained. The 458 Italia will accelerate to 60 mph in just under 3.4 seconds, with a recorded top speed of 202 mph.
The 458 Italia also made the news recently for its heavily contested win in the GTD category of the 2014 Rolex 24 series. Audi was initially awarded the win, after Ferrari was dealt a contact penalty. However, the IMSA reversed the decision, resulting in a Ferrari victory.
