Motorsport Magazine, a French publication, has published a tire test comparing the 10 top performance tires, naming Yokohama’s recently released Advan Sport V105 its winner.
Ranking the tires in terms of braking, lap times, wear and subjective performance, Motorsport’s August/September issue found the V105 strong across the board, while Michelin’s Pilot Sport 3 and Goodyear’s Eagle F1 Asymmetric rounded out a generally strong-performing top three.
Conducted by Rezulteo, the independent international tire research company, which provides a tire buyers’ guide and comparison website to consumers in more than 20 countries, the tests were staged by the international Magny Cours circuit. The subjective rankings of the tire were decided by Rezulteo’s test drivers, which considered precision, maximum grip and balance in their deliberations.
