McLaren’s newest, model, the 675 LT, with the LT standing for ‘Longtail,’ hearkening back to the classic McLaren nameplate of decades past, will debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March. McLaren has just teased its new model in the above video, in addition to the release of several performance details and specifications.
The 675LT is based on the existing 650S but sports a few significant improvements over the 650S. The 675LT sports McLaren’s award-winning 3.8 liter bi-turbo V8. The 675LT’s iteration of the 3.8 employs more lightweight components, coupled to an improved turbocharger delivering higher boost. A dual-pipe titanium crossover exhaust system provides both performance upgrades and cosmetic appeal not yet seen before in the McLaren line.
The 675LT produces 666 hp and 516 lb. ft. of torque. The 675LT will slot right above the 650S and the Spots Series, which is also being unveiled soon.
