The Chevrolet Two-Ten, or 210 was the mid-range model of the Chevrolet car from 1953–1957. It took its name by shortening the production series number (2100) by one digit in order to capitalize on the 1950s trend toward numerical auto names.
This particular Chevrolet 210 is a beautiful, blue, 1956 model built for 5-time NHRA champion, Joe Amato. The Chevy’s 502/500 hp comes from a rebuilt Ram Jet engine. This 210’s engine is tuned with MIFI Burn software and has polished heads and ceramic headers. The five-speed transmission is a Tremec TKO 600 transmission.
The Chevy has a Pro Touring Putin body as well as some original sheet metal, 12-inch Wilwood brakes, front and rear sway bars, Ford 9-inch rear end, Watson aluminum radiator, condenser and polished core support, and has vintage air.
Unlike the air though, not everything is vintage, such as the power seats and windows, custom suede and leather interior and Billet Specialties wheels. This Chevrolet 210 has vintage styling with some modern upgrades.
One of Babcox Media’s own has a 1955 210. Check it out.
