TVR has announced that it will unveil its new sports car on September 8. It will be unveiled to the public at Goodwood Revival Meeting.
The design is in conjunction with Gordon Murray and promises a 200mph performance and can go 0-60mph in less than 4 seconds.
For this event, TVR is offering a special launch edition for £90,000 and anticipation is already sky-high. Only 500 launch edition cars are earmarked for production and TVR will soon stop taking further orders until the public unveiling.
The car will be on display in the ‘Earls Court’ building and to celebrate the British marque’s 70th anniversary, the new car will be accompanied by a display of historic TVRs.
“We are incredibly excited to be unveiling the new car at the Goodwood Revival. It’s the first time a global launch of a new car has occurred at the event, and it seems an entirely appropriate place for us to do it, with the marque’s motorsport heritage and an enthusiastic audience of dedicated car fans – and in our 70th anniversary year. After a series of secret private viewings organised for the benefit of existing customers for the new car, we know that we have a surefire hit on our hands, and very much look forward to seeing the public reaction in September.” Said Les Edgar, chairman of TVR.
