Here is a video of the recently revealed 2016 Cadillac CTS-V doing an awesome burnout, and it also happens to be the first driving footage of the new car, which is set to make its world debut at the 2015 Detroit Auto Show.
The 2016 Cadillac CTS-V is the most powerful Cadillac ever. With a supercharged 6.2 liter V8, the CTS-V sports 640 horsepower and 630 ft. lbs. of torque; this is indeed the same engine fitted in the 2015 Corvette Z06. The car will accelerate to 60 mph in 3.7 seconds and can achieve a top speed of 200 mph. The engine also sports direct fuel injection and cylinder deactivation, coupled to GM’s new eight speed transmission.
The 2016 CTS-V will go on sale this summer and will compete with the BMW M5, the Jaguar XFR-S, and the Mercedes Benz E63 AMG. Expect pricing to start at just under $70,000.
