Miniature engines are always awesome to look at, due to their uniqueness and the way people choose to build them. Often constructed out of spare parts, it’s always enlightening to see them come together and actually run.
This engine is an in-line six cylinder with a stroke of 1.5 inches and a bore of 1 inch, for a total displacement of 7 cubic inches. The engine is unique for its openly visible crankshaft that isn’t contained in a crank-case. Also of cosmetic interest, is the fuel jar, pinned to the side of the engine. The engine runs on the four stroke cycle and is air cooled. The exposed rockers, no doubt, make this engine tantalizing to watch. The sound is pretty good too; at one point, it almost sounds like a helicopter.
